On December 16 will be held the day “Desalination for agriculture. Current situation in the Southeast of Spain”, organized within the framework of the LIFE DESEACROP project. During the conference, the main results of the LIFE DESEACROP project will be presented. In addition, we will have the collaboration of several experts who will talk about the current situation and sustainability of the desalination process, how to reduce the impact of brine discharge or the agronomic aspects of the use of desalinated water for irrigation, among others.

The LIFE DESEACROP project (LIFE16 ENV/ES/000341), has been co-financed by the European Union within the LIFE program. The project is coordinated by the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena and the partners are the University of Almería, Sacyr Agua and the Campo de Níjar User Community.
